• CETIR: Centre for Transfer of Experience from Integration
and Reforms - program of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of
the Slovak Republic financed from the official development
aid program SlovakAid
• Billateral ODA projects of Technical Assistance
– Western Balkans (Serbia, Montenegro, Albania, Bosnia and
Herzegovina, Macedonia, Albania)
– Eastern Partnership (Ukraine, Moldova, Georgia, Belarus)
– Southern Neighborhood (Egypt, Tunisia)

• focuses on intensifying contacts of Slovak experts with
representatives of state authorities in countries of Western
Balkans, Eastern Partnership and Southern Neighborhood
• tries to promptly respond to particular needs of the partner
country and make use of experience and provide active
participation of Slovak ministries and other institutions

• puts emphasis on strengthening reform efforts and
improving good management of public affairs in the
countries
Main activities - study visits and partner consultations in
selected sectors and state institutions in order to prepare
grounds for shared projects with Slovak entities that may be
funded from EU programs

so far 15 study visits and seminars with total of 69 representatives from 9
countries.
thematic focus:
- legislation in the field of social work and labor law
- waste management
- Information technologies and software programs in the judiciary and
prosecution
- the reform of state administration
- etc.

- in 2012, three calls for proposals (Western Balkans, Eastern
Partnership, Southern neighborhood)
- Focused on:
- transformation process and reforms
- civil society (dialog between government and NGOs)

- sound business environment
- security sector reform (Egypt, Tunisia)
