Answer should include number of liquids (top layer and bottom layer) and solids (black squares, red squares, red tubes, dark grey and light grey rods). There should be evidence that identifies items based on color, consistency, or texture. 3. What safety precautions would you take when separating the mixture? ► Must include: the use of goggles and gloves the use of tools to reduce contact with the substance, such as droppers and plastic forceps Assume substances are toxic, corrosive, or flammable ► ► ► 5.
