Who are we?
• We are the student chapter of the American Society of Health-System
Pharmacists (ASHP), the Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacists
(TSHP), and the Gulf Coast Society of Health-System Pharmacists (GCSHP)
• We are 140+ UHCOP students in a 30,000+ national professional
pharmacy organization

Hospital or health-system pharmacy. This
encompasses many areas outside the traditional
(retail) pharmacy environment including:
• Clinical specialists
– Ex: Transplant, Infectious disease, Pediatrics, Oncology, etc.
• Inpatient and outpatient care practitioners
– Ex: Pharmacists in ambulatory & chronic care settings such as
diabetes, HIV, and lipid clinics
• Directors of Pharmacy, Hospital Administration
• Home infusion
• Academia
