E.g. booth order, cupboard pickup, or roundup cans. 2012 Fall Product Program Banking Page 19 ACH added to TNOS Council will collect ONE payment from each troop. Net of nuts, direct, online, & GOC. Debit day of Dec. 7; nearly 3 weeks after the end of the program – no excuse for not having funds in place. Direct magazines are paid to the troop in October, and not paid to Council until Dec. 7. Deposit it! There is no ‘authorize’ function in TNOS – it will just happen. Troops need to email Council of any issues to head off NSF debits. Questions??? 2012 Fall Product Program Nut Wrap Up P. 22-23 Allocations, T2T, GOC NEW - Troop to troop exchanges are entered by the Service Unit. Troop should verify the data. Gift of Caring are entered as “Care to Share” in TNOS. Allocations are clearly defined in the “Units not Applied” list. Be sure to correctly choose girl or troop responsibility. Record all girl payments to be sure each girl pays what she is responsible for. Recognitions will calculate automatically based on UNITS. Print the Final Report so you have historical data for completing the troop finances at year end. Questions??? 2012 Fall Product Program QSP Wrap Up Page 23 Direct & Online Direct orders are entered by Oct. 20. Detailed Order Reports for online sales are emailed to girls/parents Nov. 19. Parents must relay the Detailed Order Report to TFPC by Nov. 20. Troop enters online sales data into TNOS by Nov. 27 to be sure the ACH Debit amount calculates correctly and to ensure that girls get credit toward Rewards. REMEMBER – TNOS cannot multiply 1 magazine to equal 2 units for Rewards. Please double the # of magazines to properly calculate girl & troop recognitions. Questions??? 2012 Fall Product Program Gift of Caring; called ‘Care to Share’ in TNOS “Get a Can, Give a Can” How it works: Girls/troops collect $5 monetary donations for product, and give customers a GOC receipt if requested Troop records the number of “virtual” $5 cans in TNOS GSGLA sends product to our Gift of Caring partners Girls receive the GOC Rocker Patch for 6 or more cans Operation Gratitude Sends care packages to those on active duty in conflict areas Bob Hope Hollywood USO at LAX Hospitality Suite for arriving/departing service men & women Los Angeles Regional Foodbank Distributes to 100+ LOCAL food banks 2012 Fall Product Program Create Account QSP Fill in every field – very important 2012 Fall Product Program Add a Girl QSP For families with more than one Girl Scout, they can click on the “Add a Girl Scout” button to add additional girls. Orders are tracked individually by girl. 2012 Fall Product Program Girl Personalization QSP Girls complete a short goal setting activity and personalize their landing page with personal goal, optional photo and message 2012 Fall Product Program Import Email List QSP Send 12 emails and earn this patch from QSP Import your email list from whatever email service you use 2012 Fall Product Program Enter Emails Manually QSP Or enter emails manually 2012 Fall Product Program Reminder Email Message QSP Original email sent out immediately. Customer receives 2 reminder emails sent one week apart unless they place an order or opt out. Do online first – emails work while girls take Direct Orders via the catalog. They can send a ‘thank you’ to these customers. 2012 Fall Product Program Detailed Order Report QSP Detailed Order Report will be sent to girl at 2AM on Nov 19. Must get it to the troop to be entered into TNOS. 2012 Fall Product Program TNOS Basics The following screens will give a short overview of a few steps that troops complete. Be sure to follow the manual and its detailed guidance. TNOS Manual posted online (no videos) Log in as soon as you receive access and report any difficulties to your Service Unit ASAP. Only one log in per Troop. Share if needed. Helpful Hint: Put troop # in the subject line of all email for easy reference. Include contact info with all correspondence. 2012 Fall Product Program Troop Home Page Page tabs at the top of screen Add Girls to Troop by clicking “Add”. Review Girl info by clicking Girl Name. Troop Home Page Troop should complete the basic info. NOTE: All information sent to you will be addressed to your Troop Email address. 2012 Fall Product Program Add a Girl to Troop Enter Girl name and indicate if she is participating in Web magazine sales. Click “Choose Recognitions” to view drop box of options If a girl has earned an Online Email Patch, enter “1” in the Online Patch Quantity drop box. Girls can earn only 1 online patch Click “Add” when done 2012 Fall Product Program Entering ACH Banking Information Enter bank account information in “ACH Account” box found on Home Page. 2012 Fall Product Program Place & Review Orders Click “Orders” tab to review order page. Click “Add” to place new Product Order. Review all orders making edits by clicking on the “Order ID #”. Specify the order type and assign to a girl. NOTE: Orders that a troop picks up from Cupboards are listed in “Overview of Units Not Applied.” Apply these units to girls. NOTE: When entering Initial Booth Orders, round to the nearest case. Click “Assign Booth/Cupboard Order to Girls” to allocate orders amongst girls. Click “Add” when done 2012 Fall Product Program Placing & Reviewing Payments View and place payments in “Payments” page. Click “Add” to place new payment. Payments can be made by the girl to the troop or from the troop to the council. Navigate the drop down menus to enter exactly what you want. Click “Add” when done 2012 Fall Product Program Review Girl Information NOTE: You can review all Girl information by clicking on Girl Name from Home Page. Make any necessary updates and click “Update”. Choose drop boxes to view: • Order Summary • Payment Summary • Recognitions 2012 Fall Product Program Booth Assignments Assign Booth Sites from Troop Home Page. Use drop box to specify date, location and time. Click “Submit”. You can release booth sites by clicking “Remove”. Review all booth sites by running report in the “Reports” page. 2012 Fall Product Program Reports You have many reporting features to help you follow and analyze your sale in the “Reports” page. The Final Report for Troops will provide the number of units sold, percent/item, retail cost, gross sales and total troop proceeds Good Luck with your sales!
