infections—DOH]
[250 = homosexual contact; 146 =
bisexual contact, sharing infected
needles among drug users = 28 cases—

Mas kuyaw pa ni sa Ebola



Causes?
Dr. Bullecer--“modern lifestyle of the young
people, irresponsible usage of the Internet,
curiosity of the teenagers and general lowering
of morality also contributed to the increase of the
cases.”

The Key Issue is Not Physical or Financial, But
Moral and Theological.

The Issues:
• No Fear of God;
• Letting Your Sinful Nature Rule Your Life;
• Living According to Your Lusts

Young People:
1. Fear God = the
beginning of Wisdom
 “The fear of the LORD is the
beginning of knowledge;
fools despise wisdom and
instruction” (Prov. 1:7, ESV).



2. Obey Your Parents
“Hear, my son, your father's
instruction, and forsake not
your mother's teaching,
9 for they are a graceful
garland for your head
and pendants for your
neck” (Prov. 1:8-9).


3. Do Not Commit Sin with Your “Barkada.” (Go
with Friends Who Will Not Lead You to Sin.)
“My son, if sinners entice you,
do not consent. . . my son, do not walk in the way
with them; hold back your foot from their paths”
(Prov. 1:10, 15)
 “ With
respect to this they are surprised when you
do not join them in the same flood of debauchery,
and they malign you;
 but they will give account to him who is ready to
judge the living and the dead” (1 Pet. 4:4-5).





4. Resist Temptation
“And lead us not into
temptation, but deliver us from
evil” (Matt. 6:13).
5. Resist Your Lust by the
Power of the Spirit
“So flee youthful passions and
pursue righteousness, faith,
love, and peace, along with
those who call on the Lord from
a pure heart” (2 Tim. 2:22)
“Flee from sexual immorality . . .
Glorify God in your body” (1
Cor. 6:18).

6. Do Not Live For Your Physical Passions But for the
Will of God
“so as to live for the rest of the time in the flesh no
longer for human passions but for the will of God.
 For the time that is past suffices for doing what the
Gentiles want to do, living in sensuality, passions,
drunkenness, orgies, drinking parties, and lawless
idolatry” (1 Pet. 4:2-3).


“For this is the will of God, your sanctification: that you
abstain from sexual immorality; that each one of you
know how to control his own body in holiness and
honor, not in the passion of lust like the Gentiles who
do not know God” (1 Thess. 4:3-5).



7. True Love Waits. Don’t
Touch Her/Him Until
Honeymoon. It Will Result to
More Problems and Pain.
“Love is patient and kind;
love does not envy or boast; it
is not arrogant or rude. It
does not insist on its own
way” (1 Cor. 13:4-5).
“Or do you not know that
your body is a temple of the
Holy Spirit within you, whom
you have from God? You are
not your own, for you were
bought with a price. So
glorify God in your body” (1
Cor. 6:19-20).

8. Obey God and You Will Live a Blessed Life!
Blessed is the man
who walks not in the counsel of the wicked,
nor stands in the way of sinners,
nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
2 but his delight is in the law of the LORD,
and on his law he meditates day and night.
 3 He is like a tree
planted by streams of water
that yields its fruit in its season,
and its leaf does not wither.
In all that he does, he prospers. (Ps. 1:1-3, ESV).

