Broadband Expansion (BBE)
• Frontier Acquired Verizon on July 1, 2010. Since Acquisition:
– 2010: Expanded to 19 Markets
– 2011: Expanded to 73 Markets
– 2012: Expanded to 76 Markets
• Additional 168 Central Offices in Illinois have been equipped with High
Speed Internet capability since acquisition.
• Constructing ROADM Fiber Rings
• Over 98,000 additional customers are now eligible for High Speed Internet
Service from Frontier.
