Non-Government Association
1.To promote the development of the scientific base of aviation and
space medicine
2. To encourage and foster research in the fields of aviation and
space medicine
3. To promote exchange of information, ideas and experience in
aviation and space medicine
4. To improve teaching of aviation and space medicine
5. To foster the training of experts (specialists) in aviation and space
medicine
6. To facilitate international cooperation and exchange among
individuals and organizations involved in aviation and space
medicine
7. To provide an international source of recognized expertise in all
areas of aviation and space medicine
A. Sponsoring and/or organizing conferences,
meetings, congresses or study groups
B. Presenting an international consensus view on
aviation and space medicine topics and issues
C. Establishing and/or providing representation to or
support for appropriate commissions, committees
and information services
D. Publishing materials of international interest in
aviation and space medicine
•Members -to-be undergo a selection process and are
elected solely on their merit, regardless of their
nationality, race, creed, ideology or political belief
•Candidates must be medical or science graduates from
an accredited university/college who have made an
outstanding contribution to aerospace medicine and/or
hold an eminent position in this special area and/or in
the allied sciences
•Membership is limited to 250 (such number has never
yet been reached)
