Acquisitions Managers and Vendors
Interest Group – Midwinter 2011
Friday, June 24, 2011 - 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM
More libraries are utilizing patron driven acquisition
(PDA) and vendors are offering creative business
models to complement traditional purchasing
approaches, posing new opportunities/challenges
for acquisitions. This pre-conference, led by
experienced professionals, will guide attendees
through the different models, expose them to real
life programs at libraries of varying sizes, offer
strategies for the set-up and on-going
management, as well as point out common
technical services issues.
