1. PASSOVER Lev 23:4 'These are the LORD's appointed feasts, the sacred
assemblies you are to proclaim at their appointed times:
Lev 23:5 The LORD's Passover begins at twilight on the fourteenth day of the
first month.
Passover is the Feast of Salvation . In both Testaments the Blood of the Lamb
delivers from slavery. The Jew from Physical slavery in Egypt and the
Christian from the Slavery of the Egypt of Sin
1Co 5:7 ….. For even Christ our Passover is sacrificed for us:
2. FEAST OF UNLEAVENED BREAD
Lev 23:6 On the fifteenth day of that month the LORD's Feast
of Unleavened Bread begins; for seven days you must eat
bread made without yeast.
1Co 5:7 Purge out therefore the old leaven, that ye may
be a new lump, as ye are unleavened.
1Co 5:8 Therefore let us keep the feast, not with old
leaven, neither with the leaven of malice and
wickedness; but with the unleavened bread of sincerity
and truth.

Lev 23:10 Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them,
When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap
the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring a sheaf of the first fruits of
your harvest unto the priest:
Lev 23:11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be
accepted for you: on the morrow after the sabbath the priest shall
wave it.
This Feast has many Names

Ingathering at the end of the year, when you gather in your crops from
the field.

first fruits of the wheat harvest, and the Feast of Ingathering at the

Passover was Barley Harvest Pentecost was wheat harvest. Any
harvest needed rain this was the spring rains that brought these
harvests
God promised to come to his people as rain
Hos 6:3 Then shall we know, if we follow on to know the LORD: his
going forth is prepared as the morning; and he shall come unto us as
the rain, as the latter and former rain unto the earth.
The Prophet Joel is the Prophet of Pentecost
Joe 2:23 Be glad then, ye children of Zion, and rejoice in the LORD
your God: for he hath given you the former rain moderately, and he will
cause to come down for you the rain, the former rain, and the latter
rain in the first month.
Joe 2:24 And the floors shall be full of wheat, and the fats shall
overflow with wine and oil.
Joe 2:25 And I will restore to you the years that the locust hath
eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpillar, and the palmerworm, my
great army which I sent among you.
Joe 2:26 And ye shall eat in plenty, and be satisfied, and praise the
name of the LORD your God, that hath dealt wondrously with you:
and my people shall never be ashamed.
Joe 2:27 And ye shall know that I am in the midst of Israel, and that
I am the LORD your God, and none else: and my people shall never
be ashamed.
Joe 2:28 And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my
spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall
prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall
see visions:
Joe 2:29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in
those days will I pour out my spirit.
Joe 2:30 And I will show wonders in the heavens and in the earth,
blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
Joe 2:31 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into
blood, before the great and the terrible day of the LORD come.
Joe 2:32 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the
name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in
Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the
remnant whom the LORD shall call.
Lev 23:15 'From the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the sheaf of
the wave offering, count off seven full weeks.
Lev 23:16 Count off fifty days up to the day after the seventh Sabbath, and
then present an offering of new grain to the LORD.
Lev 23:17 From wherever you live, bring two loaves made of two-tenths of an
ephah of fine flour, baked with yeast, as a wave offering of firstfruits to the
LORD.
Lev 23:18 Present with this bread seven male lambs, each a year old and
without defect, one young bull and two rams. They will be a burnt offering to
the LORD, together with their grain offerings and drink offerings--an offering
made by fire, an aroma pleasing to the LORD.

2Co 3:17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the
Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
This means we have freedom and liberty from the Old covenant
Bondages and ceremonialism of the Law. Every 50 years in
Israel was a Jubilee year slaves were set free, debts cancelled
and families were reunited and liberty was proclaimed
throughout the Land by the sound of Jubilee trumpets.
FirstFruits and Pentecost both bypassed the weekly Sabbath
FEAST OF FIRSTFRUITS
Lev 23:11 And he shall wave the sheaf before the LORD, to be
accepted for you: on the morrow after the Sabbath the priest shall

FEAST OF PENTECOST
Lev 23:15 'From the day after the Sabbath, the day you brought the sheaf of the
wave offering, count off seven full weeks.
Lev 23:16 Count off fifty days up to the day after the seventh Sabbath, and then
present an offering of new grain to the LORD.
These are two foundational events of the church the Resurrection of
Christ and the outpouring of the Holy Spirit both took place of the first
day of the week. That’s why we worship on Sunday!
The fact that these two Feast days were kept on the morrow
after the Sabbath actually prophesied an end of Sabbath

Rom 14:5 One man esteemeth one day above another: another
esteemeth every day alike. Let every man be fully persuaded in his own
mind.
Col 2:16 Let no man therefore judge you in meat, or in drink, or in
respect of a holy day, or of the new moon, or of the sabbath days:
The Feasts find their fullfillment in Christ
Gal 4:10 Ye observe days, and months, and times, and years.
Gal 4:11 I am afraid of you, lest I have bestowed upon you labor in
vain.
Hos 2:11 I will also cause all her mirth to cease, her feast days, her
new moons, and her sabbaths, and all her solemn feasts.
Lev 23:17 From wherever you live, bring two loaves made of two-tenths of an
ephah of fine flour, baked with yeast, as a wave offering of firstfruits to the
LORD.
Pentecost speaks of the church which has not reached
sinless perfection in the leavened Bread
Passover speaks of Christ and his sinlessness in the
unleavened Bread
Pentecost loaves used two tenths of fine flour
Lev 23:17 From wherever you live, bring two loaves made of two-tenths of an
ephah of fine flour, baked with yeast, as a wave offering of firstfruits to the
LORD.
The Manna in the wilderness
Two tenths of an ephah speaks of Double portion in exodus the manna in the
wilderness
Had two tenths deal in it . On the six day they collected a double portion of
manna
Exo 16:36 Now an omer is the tenth part of an ephah.
The Feast of First Fruits used two tenth deals
Lev 23:13 –two tenth deals of fine flour mingled with oil, represents the double
portion of the firstborn.
The New Testament Church is God’s Firstborn with a Double portion of
his Spirit in and upon us.
The 12 loaves of Shewbread on the Golden table used two tenth deals
Lev 24:5 And thou shalt take fine flour, and bake twelve cakes thereof: two
tenth deals shall be in one cake.
Lev 24:6 And thou shalt set them in two rows, six on a row, upon the pure table
before the LORD.
Lev 24:7 And thou shalt put pure frankincense upon each row, that it may be on
the bread for a memorial, even an offering made by fire unto the LORD.
In the two tables of stone on which the Ten commandments
were written we also have the thought of two tenths, for the ten
commandments find their fulfillment in the two commandments
of Jesus in the New Testament.
Mat 22:37 Jesus said unto
him, Thou shalt love the Lord
thy God with all thy heart, and
with all thy soul, and with all
thy mind.
Mat 22:38 This is the first and
great commandment.
Mat 22:39 And the second is
like unto it, Thou shalt love thy
neighbor as thyself.
Mat 22:40 On these two
commandments hang all the
law and the prophets.
At Sinai we have Moses, fire, darkness, trumpet voice, quaking,
thunder and lightning. This was Old Testament Pentecost.

At Mt Zion we have Jesus, tongues of fire, a rushing mighty
wind, shaking and conviction. This was New Testament

baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about
three thousand souls.
Jer 31:33 But this shall be the covenant that I will make with the
house of Israel; After those days, saith the LORD, I will put my law in
their inward parts, and write it in their hearts; and will be their God,
and they shall be my people.
Jer 31:34 And they shall teach no more every man his neighbor, and
every man his brother, saying, Know the LORD: for they shall all know
me, from the least of them unto the greatest of them, saith the LORD:
for I will forgive their iniquity, and I will remember their sin no more.
Heb 8:10 For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of
Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their
mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and
they shall be to me a people:
Heb 8:11 And they shall not teach every man his neighbor, and every
man his brother, saying, Know the Lord: for all shall know me, from the
least to the greatest.
Heb 8:12 For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins
and their iniquities will I remember no more.
Jer 31:31 Behold, the days come, saith the LORD, that I will make a
new covenant with the house of Israel, and with the house of Judah:
Jer 31:32 Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers
in the day that I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of
Egypt; which my covenant they broke, although I was a husband unto
them, saith the LORD:

Hos 2:14 Therefore I am now going to allure her; I will lead her into the
desert and speak tenderly to her.
Hos 2:15 There I will give her back her vineyards, and will make the
Valley of Achor a door of hope. There she will sing as in the days of her
youth, as in the day she came up out of Egypt.
Hos 2:16 In that day, declares the LORD, "you will call me 'my
husband'; you will no longer call me 'my master.
Hos 2:19 I will betroth you to me forever; I will betroth you in
righteousness and justice, in love and compassion.

the LORD.

marriage of the Lamb is come,
and his wife hath made herself
ready.

adulteresses
Jas 4:4 You [are like] unfaithful wives [having illicit love affairs
with the world and breaking your marriage vow to God]! Do you
not know that being the world's friend is being God's enemy? So
whoever chooses to be a friend of the world takes his stand as
an enemy of God.
Jas 4:5 Or do you suppose that the Scripture is speaking to no
purpose that says, The Spirit Whom He has caused to dwell in
us yearns over us and He yearns for the Spirit [to be welcome]
with a jealous love? [Jer. 3:14; Hos. 2:19ff.]
Jas 4:6 But He gives us more and more grace (power of the
Holy Spirit, to meet this evil tendency and all others fully). That
is why He says, God sets Himself against the proud and
haughty, but gives grace [continually] to the lowly (those who
are humble enough to receive it)
The New Testament Sign of Pentecost
was and is tongues
Act 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they
were all with one accord in one place.
Act 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a
rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were
sitting.
Act 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of
fire, and it satupon each of them.
Act 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began
to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
Many Believers stop at the feast of first fruits and never enter
into Pentecost
Speaking in tongues is the Gateway into the Supernatural for the
Believer
This Blessing is for Believers Today
Act 2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
Act 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will
pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters
shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men
shall dream dreams:
Act 2:18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in
those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:
Act 2:21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the
name of the Lord shall be saved.
