The Baltic International Academy accepts over a hundred
foreign students and students from other towns per year.
There are a number of options for foreign students coming to Riga to
study at university. Foreign students can live in dormitories, rent a room
or a flat.

The cost of accommodation depends on the level of proposed
amenities and the number of people living in one room, e.g.
 the minimal level of amenities necessary for living – appr. 50-60,-Ls
per month;
 better living conditions – 65 -180 Ls;
 the cost of accommodation in a private flat – 3 - 4 Ls/m2.

Students from another countries coming to study
at the Baltic International Academy can stay at the

All hotels are situated near the Academy, and are sufficiently
comfortable.
If required, students can contact a hotel, hostel or student
hotel at any other university and stay there if rooms are
