Getting Started on Razoo
1. Claim ownership of your nonprofit on
Razoo.
2. Customize your page.

Claim Ownership of your Page
1. Go to: http://nvbiggive.org
2. Scroll down to green
“Register Your
Nonprofit” button.
Click this button.
3. Click “Create a new
account” link under
“Register your
Nonprofit”.

Create an account by
providing your name (first
and last), e-mail address
(should reflect nonprofit’s
name) and creating a
password.

Click green “Create
Account” button.

On the following screen,
enter all requested
information: First and last
name, Work email address
(same address you used to
set up your account),
Phone number,
Position/Title, Nonprofit
name, 9 digit EIN (do not
enter dashes), Website
address (if any), Street
address, City, State and 5
digit zip code.
Then click the green “Get
Registered!” button.

1. This will notify Razoo
that you are claiming
admin access for your
nonprofit.
2. You should receive an
email from them
informing you that admin
access has been
granted to your account.
This may take several
days.

Customize Your Page
• Log-in to your account
with admin access and
click My nonprofit on
the right side of the
header.
• Use the admin tool bar
or the completion steps
to explain, illustrate
and promote your
cause.
• Don’t forget to click the
green
button at
the end of each
screen!

Customize Your Page: Edit
• Include your mission statement
in Summary (max of 140
characters).
• Explain the work of your
nonprofit in Tell Your Story.
• Highlight the value of a donor’s
contribution by adding
Suggested Donation Amounts
under Set Your Goals.
• Personalize your page’s web
link by creating a Custom URL.
(Note: This can only be done
once.)

Images/Videos
• Show your nonprofit
at work by uploading
images and videos.
• Use multiple images
with captions to tell a
story.

Thank Donors
• Upload a thank you
video for donors to
view after making a
contribution.
• Include a message
in your donors’ tax
receipts to express
your appreciation.

• Spread the word via
Facebook, Twitter, and e-mail.
• Customize and embed a
Donation Widget to allow
donors to give right on your
website or blog.
– Generated code can be
handed off to your
webmaster for inclusion on
your website and other
HTML pages.

• Choose a Donate Now button (Click “See More
Buttons to see variations on the button below) to link
donors from your website to your page on Razoo.
• Copy/paste generated HTML on to your web page.
Contact your webmaster for details.

to view donor information
filtered by date and
download the report into
a CSV file.
• To view information
related to the monthly
disbursement check from
Razoo, click the link
labeled Disbursements.

Grants
• Display a dollar–for–
dollar grant or
challenge grant on
your page to
encourage donors to
give.

Projects and Fundraisers
• Create pages for specific projects or
events sponsored by your nonprofit.
– Note: Clicking on “Fundraise”
when you are logged in with
Admin access creates a project
under your overall nonprofit
page.
• Encourage supporters, fans, and
board members to fundraise on your
behalf.
