Definition
 Grade Separated Crossing is the database representation of the
relative spatial position of two consecutive transportation elements
crossing each other on different levels.
 Grade Separated Crossing is a special type of Relationship.

 In situations with more than two transportation elements crossing at
different levels, the relative spatial position between each pair of
consecutive transportation elements can be represented by exactly
one Grade Separated Crossing.

General Capturing Rules
 Grade Separated Crossing shall be captured for each multilevel
crossing of captured Road Elements, Railways, Ferry Connections
and Water Elements.
 Grade Separate Crossing shall always be captured for each crossing
at grade between a Ferry Connection and a Road Element, and
between two Ferry Connections
