If you know your concentration is embedded

Do curriculum as normal. However, you can pick whether to take 332 or 371 (or
just take both).

If a concentration course isn’t in EE in a quarter, see if there is a CSE equivalent
that quarter.
If you know your concentration is digital VLSI



Either take 476-477 next year (2014-2015), or take 371 next year.
If you are considering embedded or digital VLSI

Like 271 and CSE 142 -> try embedded, take 472 to figure out for sure.

Like 271 and 331/circuits -> try digital VLSI, take 476 in Autumn.
If you aren’t considering embedded or digital VLSI

Take 271 – important class for most tracks. Plus, it might entice you…

If interested in computation (DSP?), try CSE 373, CSE 374, CSE 351
