French government has chosen MPEG2 for free TV and MPEG4 for PayTV
to favour HDTV and TV on mobile introduction.
TPS will start on DTT on May 2005 with MPEG4-SD and move to HD as soon
as possible in 2005 (needing encoders/decoders and authorisation process)
 TPS is working to design its “multi-standard Set-top-box”
