At Fellowship Church, there are two things that we continue to do as Jesus did when He was on the Earth

BAPTISM
Both proclaim the Gospel: “Jesus died on the cross and Jesus rose from the dead”
It Means…
TODAY’S MESSAGE
Baptism comes from the Greek word “Baptizo”
It means to DIP, like a piece of cloth is dipped into a vat of dye
IT MEANS TO SUBMERGE INTO!

“To initiate into a church by sprinkling water or immersing” (Now that’s Politically Correct!)
It MUST Be Important Someone special was sent from God to Witness and Baptize
It MUST Be Important John 1:6-8 6 7 8 There was a man sent from God, whose name was John. The same came for a witness, to bear witness of the Light, that all men through him might believe. He was not that Light, but was sent to bear witness of that Light.

From the get-go, Jesus told His Disciples to Baptize people

It MUST Be Important John 4:1-3 1 When therefore the Lord knew how the Pharisees had heard that Jesus made and baptized more disciples than John, 2 3 (Though Jesus himself baptized not, but his disciples,) He left Judaea, and departed again into Galilee.

What MUST Baptism Proclaim Romans 6:3-5 3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

And you are not absolutely convinced that you knew what you were doing and who you were doing it for…
I would seriously consider getting Baptized again!

You acknowledge your belief in Jesus Christ’s Burial

You acknowledge your belief in Jesus Christ’s Resurrection

You acknowledge that this is the ONLY WAY for Forgiveness and Salvation
Through Baptism…
You gladly receive Him as your Savior and Lord

You desire to walk in Newness of Life!
