WHEN IS THE SIMPLE PRESENT TENSE IS USED?
We use the present simple for things that are
true in general, for things that happen
sometime or all the time. In other words, it
used to express:
Facts
(She studies at PNU university).
Opinion (I think the movie is boring).
Events that happen regularly, habits, and routines
(She eats breakfast every day)

1. Add “es”
Pass: passes
Wash: washes
Teach: teaches.

Do: does.

1. Delete the “y”.

Exceptions “y” rule:

Enjoy: enjoys.
Play: plays.
Buy: buys
Irregular
verbs:

Other verbs, just add the “s”:
Work: works.
Read: reads.
