Confusing Points
 Large percent of PMPs
 Confuse the process groups for project phases
 They think the process groups (initiating, planning,
executing, monitoring & controlling, and closing) are the
names of project phases
 They do not realize that the processes of these process
group repeat in every project stage
 As a result, they do not understand that the project life
span could vary from one industry to another
