on the Health Care Crisis

serious problems in the United States
(1) Accessing quality health care; &
(2) Bringing to the attention of elected
officials & the public possible
solutions and models of delivery that
currently exist to solve these
problems
How did this particular movement
for field hearings get started?
Dr. Marie DiCowden, Vice President of
Public Policy for The National Academies
of Practice, a distinguished and
independent group of healthcare
providers, is the convening chair with the
support of the NAP and other coalitions.
The National Academies of
Practice supports:
Access to quality healthcare for all
and a model of healthcare
that promotes an emphasis on
health and interdisciplinary care.
Hearings will be:
Bi-partisan
Federal
level – up to 20 panelists
Even number of Democrats &
Republicans from U.S. Congress
Florida State & So. Florida
elected officials invited as guests
