DIEPDRIFT SAFARIS - situated on a private game
farm of 7000 hectares near Warmbaths on the
Rooiberg / Thabazimbi road, approximately 1½
hours drive from Pretoria and Johannesburg. A real
and relaxing bushveld retreat!!
FAUNA & FLORA - Game on the farm includes 70
giraffe, 70 sables, eland, kudu, hartebeest, bles
buck, zebra, impala, blue wilde beest, reed buck,
hippo, water buck, cat species, gemsbok, duikers,
warthogs and 21 different types of antelope
species.
Crocodile breeding centre on farm.
110 different indigenous trees are labelled and
identified on the farm. Tree and bird lists are
provided.

All camps and chalets are secluded and
private, surrounded by dense bush and
trees. Each with a very cosy and
extraordinary boma with braai facilities and
seating under huge fig trees.
All chalets are fully equipped. Bedding
provided. Kitchens with microwaves and two
refrigerators. All chalets are tastefully
decorated.
SWARTWITPENS CHALET:
10 persons. Five bed-rooms, 3 bathrooms.
Lovely lounge & dining area.
ELAND CHALET:
10 persons. Five bed-rooms, 3 bathrooms.
Lovely lounge & dining area.
HARTBEES GUEST HOUSE:
10 Persons. 5 Bedrooms, 5 bathrooms,
kitchen, social area and lounge with stoep.
Lapa and braai facilities.
Recommendations:
Bring own towels, water bottles, torches, first
aid kit, mosquito repellent.
Hikers must provide own cutlery & crockery
Carrying of water a necessity
Keep gates closed at all times
Do not remove mattresses from chalets or
huts
Do not litter
No pets allowed
No fires excepting at designated areas
Do not remove, disturb or damage any plants
Please note that you will be responsible for
your own meals and drinks with the exception
of Saturday night, 24th November 2007.
A braai will be held. Please bring your own
alcoholic beverages.
