EXECUTIVE SUMMARY
Habeeb Syed practices corporate and securities law with a focus on corporate finance,
mergers and acquisitions and corporate governance. Habeeb advises senior
management and boards of public companies listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange
and TSX Venture Exchange in respect of their reporting issuer obligations and assists
both public and private companies with a broad range of financing and M&A
transactions. He has extensive experience advising investment dealers on securities
offerings and compliance with regulations. Habeeb participates in a number of practice
and management initiatives at BLG, including recruitment and training.
Prior to practising law, Habeeb spent several years working with the Canada Border
Services Agency (formerly the Canada Customs and Revenue Agency). He was both a
summer student and an articling student at Borden Ladner Gervais LLP before joining
the Firm as an associate in 2007.

Spy Hill Power L.P. (a wholly owned subsidiary of Northland Power Inc.
