Band Saw Safety

Cutting on the band saw
When cutting on the band saw, you can cut straight and large curves without
making relief cuts. When cutting, keep the line directly in front of the blade.
Relief Cuts
When cutting angles and small curves you need to make
relief cuts first. Cut straight in to the edge of your line or
corner, then back your wood straight out. (The only time
you move the wood backwards.) Then cut your shape out.
