Page 4 Status Server Side Push Server Push technology was developed initially at icefaces.org. Groundwork uses icefaces. The server holds a representation of the page being viewed (the DOM). In a Push configuration the browser maintains an open HTTP request to the server When data behind that page changes the server pushes out incremental updates The browser updates only those objects that changed without reloading the entire page The browser opens a new HTTP request until the next change is sent Server Groundwork Foundation 4.
