Amusement Parks
What are amusement parks?
Amusement park and theme park are terms
for a collection of rides and other
entertainment attractions assembled for the
purpose of entertaining a large group of
people. An amusement park is more elaborate
than a simple city park or playground, usually
providing attractions meant to cater to
children, teenagers, and adults.

1. The only theme park in the world that was
designed by Walt Disney
2. In 1954, in preparation for the traffic which
Disneyland was expected to bring, two more
lanes were added to the freeway even before
the park was finished.
Gardaland
Gardaland is the most famous amusement
park in North Italy, situated near the famous
Lake Garda. It opened in 1975 and is currently
the third most popular theme park in all of
Europe. Each year it welcomes almost 4
million visitors, who are attracted by it’s six
roller-coasters and over 56 rides.
The Blue Tornado
The Blue Tornado is the most popular ride at
Gardaland. It is a steel inverted coaster. Get
ready to scream!
