I will offer to thee the
sacrifice of thanksgiving

The LORD is my rock, and my
fortress, and my deliverer; my
God, my strength, in whom I
will trust; my buckler, and the
horn of my salvation, and my
high tower. (18)
The LORD also
thundered in the
heavens…Yea,
he sent out his
arrows, and
scattered them;
and he shot out
lightnings, and
discomfited
them.
“The sorrows of death compassed me,
and the floods of ungodly men made
me afraid. The sorrows of hell
compassed me about” (18)
For thou wilt light my candle: the LORD my
God will enlighten my darkness. (18)
Thy word is a
lamp unto my
feet, and a
light unto my
path. (119)
The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want. He
maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he
leadeth me beside the still waters
Yea, though I
walk through
the valley of
the shadow of
death, I will
fear no evil:
for thou art
with me (23)
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me
all the days of my life: and I will dwell in
the house of the LORD for ever (23)
Like as a father pitieth his children, so
the LORD pitieth them that fear him.
For he knoweth our frame; he
remembereth that we are dust. (103)
As for man, his days are as grass: as a
flower of the field, so he flourisheth
(103)
LORD, who shall abide in thy tabernacle?
who shall dwell in thy holy hill?
He that walketh uprightly, and worketh righteousness,
and speaketh the truth in his heart.
The earth is the LORD's, and the fulness
thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.
For he hath founded it upon the seas, and
established it upon the floods. (24)
I had rather be a
doorkeeper in
the house of
my God, than
to dwell in the
tents of
wickedness.
"I will pay my vows
unto the Lord now
in the presence of
all his people, in
the courts of the
Lord's house…
I cried with my whole heart; hear me, O
LORD: I will keep thy statutes.(119)
Restore unto me the joy of
thy salvation; and
uphold me with thy free
spirit.
Let my soul
live, and it
shall praise
thee; and
let thy
judgments
help me.
O how love I thy law!
it is my meditation
all the day
Remember not the sins of my youth, nor my
transgression: according to thy mercy
remember thou me for thy goodness’
sake, O Lord
Out of Zion, the perfection of beauty, God hath
shined.
Our God shall come, and shall not keep silence: (50)
Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy
loving kindness…Wash me throughly from
mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.
(51)
Awake, my soul! No
longer droop in sin.
Rejoice, O my heart,
and give place no
more for the enemy
of my soul. (Nephi)
O that I were an angel and
could have the wish of mine
heart, that I might go forth
and speak with the trump of
God.
Praise ye the Lord:
Praise him for his goodness;
Praise him for his grace;
Exalt his name and seek his face—
O praise ye the Lord. (Bruce R. McConkie)
