What Can Parents do to Help?
Students should be reading a
variety of genres every day! The
STAAR test is rigorous, and requires a
tremendous amount of stamina.
Encourage your child to read every day,
and ask them a variety of questions
about what they are reading. Always ask
them to provide text evidence to support
their answer.
