My name is Thomas Kelland. At the age
of 21, I was part of the crew of the
Titanic. I worked in the library as the
Library Steward taking care of the books
for the passengers. I was traveling from
Southhampton, England and was very
excited to be working on the Titanic. I
had worked on her sister ship the
Olympic. I did not board a lifeboat and
perished on April 15, 1912.

My name is Dr. William O’Loughlin.
At the age of 62, I served as part of
the crew as the ship’s doctor aboard
the Titanic. I was traveling to work on
a luxurious ship. I had been practicing
medicine for 40 years in 1912. When
the Titanic hit an iceberg, I didn’t
make it to a lifeboat and perished.

My name is Miss Elizabeth Weed Shutes.
When I was the age of 40 , I was a 1st
class passenger aboard the Titanic. I was
traveling to New York with Mrs. Edith
Graham and Miss. Margaret Graham to
whom I was the governess to. We were in
our cabin when the ship hit the iceberg. I
boarded Lifeboat C. When Carpathia
arrived to rescue us, I refused to climb
the ladder so they lifted me by a rope
sling.

My name is Minnie Coutts. At the age
of 36, I was a 3rd class passenger
aboard the Titanic. I was traveling
from Southhampton, England with my
two sons, William and Neville. My
husband got a job so we are going
to met him in New York. A man
gave me his lifejacket. I boarded
Lifeboat 2.

My name is Amy Stanley at the age of 23, I was
a 3rd class passenger aboard the Titanic. I was
traveling from Wallingford , Oxfordshire
England with an 11 year old girl , my daddy ,
and a nurse. A couple of men hoisted us over
and helped us into a lifeboat . A young man
jumped into our lifeboat and fell on me.
Someone fired a pistol to threaten any more
men from rushing in the boats ahead of the
women. All the while our boat was rocking so
hard, I feared it would capsize—it was so small
and seemed so far from the water below. I
boarded Collabsible Lifeboat C.

My name is Margretta Spedden. At the age of
39, I was a 1st class passenger aboard the
Titanic. I was traveling from Tuxedo Park,
New York with my son, Master Robert
Douglas Spedden, husband, Mr. Frederic
Oakley Spedden, Miss Elizabeth Margaret
Burns, and Miss Helen Alice Wilson. Douglas
called Margaret Muddy Boons. I wrote Polar
the Titanic Bear for Douglas 1913 as a
Christmas present. I boarded Life Boat #3
along with all of my family that was traveling
with me.

My name is Philip Kiernan . At the age of 22, I
was a 3rd class passenger aboard the Titanic. I
was traveling to Jersey City, New Jersey from
Aughnacliffe Longford, Ireland. I traveled with
my brother, Mr. John Kiernan, and cousin, Mr.
Thomas Joseph McCormack. I got on the
Titanic to visit my older brother in Ireland. I
did not get in a lifeboat, so perished on April
15, 1912.

My name is Charles Hayes. At the age of 55 , I was
a 1ST class passenger aboard the Titanic. I was
traveling home to Montreal, Canada with my wife,
Clara, and my daughter, Orian, on a business trip
from London, England. Even though I went down
with the Titanic, the railroad still got completed. I
was passionate about building a second
Transcontinental railroad within the Canadian
borders. I died on April 15, 1912 because I was not
allowed to get into a lifeboat. Women and children
were allowed to get into the lifeboats first.

My name is Juliette Laroche. At the
age of 22, I was a 2nd class passenger
aboard the Titanic. I was traveling
from Paris, France with my husband ,
Joseph, and daughters, Louise and
Simonne . We were headed to Haiti.
My husband did not board a lifeboat
and perished on April 15, 1912. My
daughters and I survived. I boarded
Lifeboat 14.

My name is Sarah Roth. At the age
of 26, I was a 3rd class passenger
aboard the Titanic. I was traveling
from London, England with my
bridesmaid, Emily Badman. I
became Mrs. Sarah Lies when I
married my fiancé, Daniel Lies, one
week after we arrived in New York.

My name is Edwina “Winnie’’ Troutt . At the
age of 27, I was a 2nd class passenger aboard
the Titanic. I was traveling from Bath, England
to Auburndale, Mass to help my sister with
her new born baby! I’m traveling in style this
on trip, safely aboard the wonderful , new
Titanic where my second class cabin is as nice
as those in first class on other ships. I was
traveling by myself, but shared a cabin with
Susan Webber of North Tamerton, Cornwall
and Nora A. Keane of Limerick, Ireland. I
boarded Lifeboat 16.

My name is Dorothy Gibson. At the age of 22,
I was a 1st class passenger aboard the Titanic.
I was traveling to New York City with my
mother, Mrs. Pauline Caroline Gibson. We
had traveled to Italy after I had shot a series
of movies. Shortly a month after the sinking
of the Titanic I played in the first ever film
about the disaster, “Saved from the Titanic”. I
played the role of myself as a passenger
aboard the Titanic. I boarded Lifeboat 7.

My name is Eleanor Widener. At the age of
50, I was a 1st class passenger aboard the
Titanic. I was traveling from Elkins Park,
Pennsylvania with Miss Amalie "Emily”
Henriette Gieger, Mr. Edwin Herbert Keeping,
Mr. George Dunton Widener, and Mr. Harry
Elkins Widener. If you visit Titanic Attraction
Museum, you may view my husband's silver
stamped case. Please remember him when
you view it. It is an honor to pay tribute to
him. Ask a crew member how I paid to tribute
my son. I boarded Lifeboat 4.

My name is Reginald Hardwick. At the
age of 21, I was a crew member
aboard the Titanic. I was traveling
from Southampton, England. I was
traveling myself as a kitchen porter
on the Titanic. I peeled potatoes and
washed salads that were served to
the 1st class passengers in the dining
room. I boarded lifeboat 11.

My name is Henry Harris. At the age of 45, I
was a 1st class passenger aboard the Titanic.
I was traveling home to New York with my
wife, Irene Harris, after a pleasure trip
abroad. I was in show business as an
entertainment impresario, talent agent and
theatrical manager of the Hudson and Harris
Theaters and the Follies Bergere. I perished
on the Titanic on April 15, 1912, because I
wasn’t allowed to get into a lifeboat.

My name is Rosa Pinsky. At the age of 32, I
was a 2nd class passenger aboard the Titanic.
I am from Brooklyn, New York. I am a widow
returning from a visit with family and friends
in Warsaw,Poland. When the Titanic hit an
iceberg and started to sink, all I did was
stand in my place in line to get on a life boat
and pray there would be enough room.
Finally, I boarded lifeboat number 9.

My name is Harold Lowe. At the age of 29 , I
was a Fifth Officer aboard the Titanic. I am
from Barmouth, Wales. My birthday is
November 21st. I helped chart Titanic’s course
on the afternoon prior to the collision and
went to bed around 8:30. When Titanic struck
the iceberg, we couldn’t fill the lifeboats
because people didn’t realize the ship was
going to sink. I got in a Lifeboat so I survived.

My name is John Longmuir. At the age of 19, I
was a Pantry Steward aboard the Titanic. I
stocked fancy breads and pastries that were
baked up every day. I was traveling from
Southampton, England. I was alone on the
Titanic. When the Titanic hit an iceberg, I did
not survive. One reason,I was a male, and only
women and children were allowed on lifeboats
first. The second reason was that I was a crew
member. Crew members needed to stay
onboard to help passengers board lifeboats.

My name is Sarah Stap. I was born at sea. I
have gone ship to ship. My age is 47. My
father was the captain of the White Star Line.
I was working as a Stewardess. I realy like the
Grand Staircase. No one traveled with me but
my father. I was about to go bed but, a big
sound came. I ran to the deck and saw a hole
in the ship. Just then, a man called out,
women and children first. They put me in life
boat 11. Good thing I didn’t die. Now that’s
the end of my story.

My name is Roberta Maioni. At the age of 20, I
was a 1st class passenger aboard the Titanic. I was
traveling from London , England. When the Titanic
hit an iceberg and started to sink, all I did was
quickly go to the top deck and prayed to get in a
life boat. Then my dear love found me , and took
off his White Star badge, handed it to me, and
helped me in my life boat. He was a musician in
the 2nd class dining room. I was maid to the
Countess of Rothes. He placed me in lifeboat
number 6 and said, “Never forget me.” I never
did.

My name is Bertha Moran. At age 22, I
was a 3rd class passenger on the Titanic. My
brother, Daniel, and I were returning home
from our family home in Ireland where my
brother was claiming an inheritance. But the
night when the Titanic was sinking, a
nice man led us to the lifeboats. I got
into Lifeboat #16. I never saw him or
my brother again.

My name is Fahim Leeni. I was 22 years old
when I boarded the Titanic as a 3rd class
passenger. I left my home in Tula, Lebanon
and headed for America hoping for a new
life. I tried twice to get in a lifeboat, but was
pushed back by an officer. There was mass
confusion on the upper decks, but I finally
managed to get in lifeboat number 6.

My name is Madeleine Mellinger. At the
age of 13, I was a 2st class passenger aboard
the Titanic. I was traveling from Wimbledon
Surrey, England with my mother. We were
hoping for a better life in America. I got on
lifeboat 14. It was miserable. They awoke
me. My lucky copper bracelet is on display
at Titanic Historical Society.

My name is Edith Rosenbaum. At the age of
34, I was a 1st class passenger aboard the
Titanic. I was traveling from Paris, France. On
the Titanic, I carried a music box pig that
played a cheery dance tune. I’m a journalist,
and I have been reporting on French fashions
when I decided to return to the states.
I knew something bad was going to happen
on the Titanic. I boarded Lifeboat 11, but not
everyone was so lucky.
