A wiki is software technology that allows users to
create, edit, and link web pages easily.
Wikis are often used to create collaborative websites
and to power community websites.
A major characteristic of wiki technology is how easy
the pages can be created and updated.
Edits can even be real-time.
A great presentation can be found at Common Craft.
