Faculty/Staff QEP Focus Groups Monday, February 18, 2013 Overview of Preliminary Implementation Plan: • Purpose: The purpose of “Navigate: Get THERE through Team Advising” is to improve students’ academic planning skills through team advising. • Goal 1: Student Learning- Through team advising, students will set and make plans for achieving educational success goals. • Student Learning Objectives: (The student will be able to . . . ) • Demonstrate knowledge of the advising structure. • Set an academic goal. • Develop an academic plan. • Demonstrate individual responsibility for academic success. • Preliminary Target Audience: Fall 2014 Cohort Students (students who are new to VWCC) who are in a degree program and in SDV.
