Overview of Preliminary Implementation Plan:
•
Purpose: The purpose of “Navigate: Get THERE through
Team Advising” is to improve students’ academic planning
skills through team advising.
•
Goal 1: Student Learning- Through team advising, students will set and
make plans for achieving educational success goals.
•
Student Learning Objectives:

Demonstrate knowledge of the advising structure.
•
Set an academic goal.
•
Develop an academic plan.
•
Demonstrate individual responsibility for academic success.
•
Preliminary Target Audience: Fall 2014 Cohort Students (students who
are new to VWCC) who are in a degree program and in SDV. Thereafter, first
year students enrolled in a degree program and taking SDV.
•
Goal 2: College-To improve the quality of advising by forming an effective
team.
•
