Provide resources to assist the company’s members in a response in
an open water incident in the Williston Basin area, including Lake
Sakakawea and it’s tributaries, in order to minimize impacts and
protect the public and environment
Organized in December 2011, there are currently 10 companies that
are active SASR members
Two stocked spill response trailers and two response boats are
available for use
A third trailer containing winter spill response equipment has been
ordered
Provides training opportunities for members with the commonlyowned equipment
