that a catastrophic
change in the earth’s
temperature may
happen.
• In the UK transport is
responsible for 25%
of CO2 emissions,
with road transport

three quarters of this
25%. This means
that transport can
offer a substantial
reduction in overall
CO2 emissions

Biofuel

a further reduction in the
cost of consumable
energy
