women, because Allah has made one of them
to excel the other, and because they spend (to
support them) from their means
• Men and women are like garments for one
another and are there to adorn the beauty of
the other
• Feed and clothe them therewith, and speak to
them words of kindness and justice
•
Modesty True modesty is the source of all virtues.

Rights of Women
in The Hadith
(Sahih Al-Bukhari)
•
Prophet Muhammad (Peace and Blessings be upon
Him) said,
•
To be dutiful to your Mothers
•
Heaven lies at the feet of mothers.
•
The world and all things in it are valuable, but the most
valuable thing in the world is a Virtuous Woman
•
Whoever does good to girls, it will be a curtain to him
in Hell-Fire
•
Whoever looks after two girls till they come of age, will
be in the next world along with me, like two fingers
joining to each other

Sayings of
The Prophet (PBUH)
• A Muslim must not hate his wife; and if he be
displeased with one bad quality in her, then let him
be pleased with another that is good.
• He is the most perfect Muslim whose character is
best; and the best of you are they who behave best
to their wives.
5
Sahih Muslim
• When a woman performs the five daily Prayers,
Fasts during the month of Ramadan is Chaste
and not disobedient to her husband, then tell
Her to enter Paradise by whichever door she
likes
• Women are twins of men
• When you see a person, who has been given
more than you in money and beauty, then look
to those who have been given less than you
• God loves those who are content
6
Sayings of
The Prophet (PBUH)
• The most excellent Jihad is that for the conquest of
self.
• The ink of the scholar is more holy than the blood of
the martyr.
• To spend more time in learning is better than
spending more time praying; the support of religion
is abstinence. It is better to teach knowledge one
hour in the night than to pray all night.
• He dies not who gives life to learning.
• The best of persons in God's sight is the best
amongst his friends; and the best of neighbors near
God is the best person in his own neighborhood.
• He who wishes to enter Paradise at the best door
must please his father and mother.
7
Sahih Muslim
• Abu Huraira reported that a person came to
Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon him)
and said: Who among the people is most
deserving of a fine treatment from my hand?
He said: Your mother. He again said: Then
who (is the next one)? He said: Again it is
your mother (who deserves the best
treatment from you). He said: Then who (is
the next one)? He (the Holy Prophet) said:
Again, it is your mother. He (again) said:
Then who? Thereupon he said: Then it is
your father. In the hadith transmitted on the
authority of Qutalba, there is no mention of
the word" the people".
• Riches are not from an abundance of worldly
goods, but from a contented mind

Women Rights
in The Holy Quran
• If you fear that you shall not be able to deal
justly with the orphan-girls then marry (other)
women of your choice, two or three or four, but
if you fear that you shall not be able to deal
justly (with them), then only one: Surah Al-Nisa
• There is a share for men and a share for
women from what is left by parents and those
nearest related, whether the property be small
or large: a legal share
9
The Holy Quran
• O you who believe: Eat not your property
among yourselves unjustly except it be a trade
amongst you, by mutual consent. And do not kill
yourselves (nor kill one another). Surely Allah is
Most Merciful to you
• And whoever commits that through aggression
and injustice, we shall cast him into the fire and
that is easy for Allah
10
Sahih Muslim
• Jabir b. Abdullah reported that Allah's Messenger
(may peace be upon him) said: Be on your guard
against committing oppression, for oppression is a
darkness on the Day of Resurrection, and be on your
guard against petty-mindedness for petty-mindedness
destroyed those who were before you, as it incited
them to shed blood and make lawful what was
unlawful for them.
• Anas reported Allah's Messenger (may peace be upon
him) as saying: When Allah fashioned Adam in
Paradise, He left him as He liked him to leave. Then
Iblis (satan) roamed round him to see what actually
that was and when he found him hollow from within,
he recognised that he had been created with a
disposition that he would not have control over
himself.

Sayings of
The Prophet (PBUH)
•
•
•
•
He is not of me who, when he speaks, speaks falsely; who,
when he promises, breaks his promises; and who, when trust
is reposed in him, fails in his trust.
Say what is true, although it may be bitter and displeasing to
people.
This world is a prison for the Faithful, but a Paradise for
unbelievers.
Be in the world like a traveler, or like a passer on, and reckon
yourself as of the dead.
