Projects:
• A Call To Action Papers – to recruit
• Publication pathways for publishing new, original
research and meta-analyses
• Professional development opportunities for
participating researchers
Baker, Kerksi, Palmer
Forthcoming - NGCE Journal of Geography
•A 2004 online survey of K-12 educators who
attended GIS training
•Self-reported (n=186) data suggest a few modest,
yet significant changes in assessment and
instructional patterns.
•Barriers to GIS implementation are still present: time
for teachers, variable student skills, and software
complexity.
•And much more….
