Make a Gruffalo puppet, an owl, a snake, a mouse and a fox. Hear the Gruffalo story at 6pm

Cycling
Year 6 cycling is due to start after Christmas, could all Year 6 parents please return the forms to
the office as soon as possible.
DVDs Needed
The dinner staff are asking for donations of U rated DVDs for use during wet playtimes. We
particularly need things suitable for Key Stage 2. We would be grateful for any donations.

SuperTots
Looking for something to do on a Thursday afternoon? Why not come to Supertots? Babies,
toddlers and pre-school children welcome. 50p per child. Fruity snacks provided. For more
details see Mrs Holland
Primary Admissions and Year 6 Transfer Forms
Thank you to all the parents of Y6 children, all Secondary Transfer Forms were handed in on time
The closing date for Primary places is 15th January 2010. Please make sure you get your
application in, to ensure your first choice of school, citywide there is a shortage of places and
unless you apply by the deadline, you may not get the school you would like.
You can apply online at www.coventry.gov.uk/admisssions.
Y6 Dol-Y-Moch
Year 6 go to Dol Y Moch at the end of the month. We all hope they have a great time and come
back ready to enjoy the last 2 weeks of term. We hope that parents found the meeting useful but
if there are any individual concerns please contact Mr Woods, Miss Rowe or myself here at
school.
Christmas Concerts
We will shortly be sending letters home regarding the Christmas concert that takes place on
Wednesday 9th December. We will be issuing each family with two tickets for each
performance. Unfortunately, due to Fire Regulations we are not able to allocate more tickets
than this. Thank you for your co-operation in this matter.
Christmas Shoppers
Do you need to do some late night shopping but don't want to take the children? Abby Oaks
are available to help……We are allocating extra spaces to make this possible for you. Charges
will apply. Please call Louise on 07957339753 (Play Leader)
St James Church
St James will be holding their Annual Shoe Box Service on Sunday 15th November at 5.30pm.
Please join them for mulled wine and mince pies. Although we are not participating in this at
school Church will be open every day from 12 – 2pm for you to take your shoes boxes if you
wish.
The Church Christmas Bazaar will take place on Sunday 21st November from 11am until 2pm
Ice Skating
We have some family Ice Skating passes for the Sky Dome. Valid until 21st December 09
for 2 adults & 2 children or 1 adult & 3 children, including skate hire. For sale for £5 each
( Worth over £30) We will sell them on a first come, first served basis. Please see Mrs Holland
for more details.
