Christmas Trees
People bringing Christmas trees in to their homes has been a tradition for many years. Many people think it came from Germany where Prince Albert, Queen Victoria’s husband came from. At the weekend a Christmas tree was lit in Broad Street. It was a present from the people of Norway. There is also a Christmas tree in Trafalgar Square in London which is a present to the UK from Norway to thank Britain for its help during WWII
