Complete Streets policy emphasizes safety, mobility, and accessibility for all modes of travel and individuals of all ages and abilities. Implementation with roadway construction and reconstruction projects.

Principles: Fit the context; anticipate demand; accommodate at intersections; pair projects.
People: Who are the expected or desired users?
Networks: Includes nearly every roadway in GA.
Warrants: of the policy; standards & guidelines.
Design: Refer to AASHTO, NACTO, MUTCD.

At least two RSA’s per year in each of the seven GDOT districts as well as two additional RSA’s per year in the metro Atlanta district.
