notice of SOAP eligibility status
Does not mean you are unmatched
Means you have been verified by OSA
as eligible for Match/SOAP if you are
unmatched
Types of Matches
1. Fully matched


Matched to categorical program or
Matched prelim and advanced program
2. Partially matched


Matched prelim but not advanced
Matched advanced but not prelim
3. No match

10:30 am – OSA learns who is not fully
matched
11:00 am – Students learn if fully matched
11:00 am – Unmatched and partially matched
have access to unfilled list
1:00 pm – Unmatched apply to programs in
SOAP via ERAS

7:00 am – OSA receives Match results





9:15 am – Doors open Aon Center (MUST
have photo ID), light buffet and bar open
9:30 am – Student-prepared slide show runs
10:00 am – Full hot buffet opens
10:55 am – Brief remarks
11:00 am (precisely) – OSA staff announce
students’ names to pick up envelope
Match Day – Friday details

11:00 am – Students open envelope away
from stage
Last student called wins the pot of $$
(students voluntarily contribute upon arrival at event)

~11:30 am – Student-prepared
“Superlatives” announced
~11:45 pm – OSA-prepared slide show
with students’ pictures and Match
1:00 pm – End of event at AON Building
Late afternoon – Match results posted
on OSA website
