A) Performances and Recreation

vaudeville: type of inexpensive variety show

Comic sketches, humor, magic, jugglers ect
Nickelodeons – converted places to show movies –
nickel admission – most films silent
Circus train would make its yearly stop
Steeple chase, Ferris wheel and roller coaster in
amusement parks
Baseball leagues, football, and basketball – women
road bikes – led to more practical clothing
