Tests
Given at the end of a Unit
Study guides will be given
Will be cumulative
Accounts for 40% of the grade
Quizzes & Small Projects
Given periodically throughout the
marking period
Quizzes mastery of one or two
concepts
Redo for performance below a 75
Accounts for 30% of the grade
Homework
 Given almost every night
 Accounts for 20% of the grade
 Will be posted on teacher web site at
the end of every day.
 Will be checked every night for
completion announced when graded for
completion and accuracy
 Do now/ Homework quizzes
Benchmarks
 Study guides will be sent home
 Exam will cover the units learned for each
marking period
 Will count for 10% of grade
Extra Credit
 Up to 2 points of the overall grade can be
earned back
 Cannot push a student over full credit.
 Engaging activity throughout the marking
