Tests
Given at the end of a Unit
Study guides will be given
Will be cumulative
Accounts for 40% of the grade
Quizzes & Small Projects
Given periodically throughout the
marking period
Quizzes mastery of one or two
concepts
Redo for performance below a 75
Accounts for 30% of the grade
Homework
Given almost every night
Accounts for 20% of the grade
Will be posted on teacher web site at
the end of every day.
Will be checked every night for
completion announced when graded for
completion and accuracy
Do now/ Homework quizzes
Benchmarks
Study guides will be sent home
Exam will cover the units learned for each
marking period
Will count for 10% of grade
Extra Credit
Up to 2 points of the overall grade can be
earned back
Cannot push a student over full credit.
