How to Apply
Salem-Keizer Public Schools accepts only
electronic applications.
All supplemental documents should be added
to your electronic application.
Please send all copies of your materials directly
to EdZapp.
Visit:
http//www.TeachingInOregon.org
then click on Filing the Application,
click on it.
If it is your first visit and would like to create a
new account, click on Register to complete a
basic registration form.
If you have already established an account,
you will need to enter your e-mail address
and password to login.
You may change your username (email) and
password at any time; please keep your email
current so we can reach you.
If you already have an EdZapp/ TeachOregon
account, you may use the same e-mail and
password information for our application.
Much of your information will already be
populated on your Salem-Keizer application;
you only sections for Salem-Keizer.
Once you have logged in, fill out all of the
appropriate sections of the application by
clicking Build Resume: Preparation
Experience
Skills/Awards
Job Preference
Review/Finish
By clicking on the Questions tab, make sure
you have completed the
National
Regional
District Questions
To use the Supplemental Documents feature of the
application, login to the Salem-Keizer Public
Schools’ online application and click on
Supplemental Documents.
Criminal History
Transcripts
Three letters of reference
Resume
Equal Opportunity
When the Criminal History is printed a barcode will
appear in the top of the page that identifies SalemKeizer Public Schools.
A grid will appear showing all required
supplemental documents.
To access Criminal History, click on
details.
Next screen, select print district form


Document will automatically download and open as a
PDF document in Adobe Acrobat Reader
Print document and complete
If document does not automatically appear as
stated above, it is blocked by your browsers
pop-up blocker. A note will appear stating that
the file has been blocked.
Click on the statement and select “download
file.”


If form does still not appear, select print district form
again and it should be available to open.

If you are going to mail documents to
edZapp, select continue, and on next
screen, select Generate Bar Code
Generate Bar Code
A printed “bar code” cover sheet will be
required for each supplemental document.
Documents can be sent individually or as
one completed package, however, a cover
sheet must be included with each
supplemental document.
If you are already an EdZapp paid subscriber and
have uploaded documents to your online profile,
you do not need to upload them again.
You can use the Supplemental Documents feature
of the Salem-Keizer Public Schools application for
FREE. These documents will ONLY be visible to
the Salem-Keizer Public Schools.
Be sure to activate your application so
that we know you are interested.
If you do not activate your application, it
will not be visible to us.
After you have completed the application, click on
the Application Status/Jobs tab and then Current
Openings.
To apply for a specific position, go to the Position
Title and click on the position you are interested in.
Then click on the Apply Now button.
Follow the Continue buttons at the top of the page
until you reach the Confirm button and have
successfully applied for the position.
Areas and steps to double-check
a) Is your application active?
After logging in to the Salem-Keizer Public Schools’
online application, click on the Activation Status/
Jobs tab.
This will tell you if you are currently active and visible
to the Salem-Keizer Public Schools.
b) Did you successfully apply for a specific job?
After logging in to the Salem-Keizer Public Schools’
online application, click on the Activation Status/
Jobs tab and then Jobs Applied To.
* If successful, the aplication history will show.
* If it does not show, repeat steps to apply for each
position.
Every week, new positions will be posted.
Be aware that in the bottom of the screen
Job Applied To there are two options to be
chosen:
show active jobs only or
show all jobs
If you would like to see a job that you applied
and the deadline was due, you need to click on
show all jobs.
* If you see a job that you did not want to apply
for, you can delete, go back in and search again
for position titles.
