Drawings are numbered following conventions
Drawing system notion
 CDD supports several drawing systems :

EST/LHC : 12 char
 LHC Exp : 12 char
 SL-PO

 ST-CV




The evolution of a drawing must be managed and controlled
CDD handles drawing versions
 Each version has got a revision index
 The history of the drawing is kept


Each version must be controlled before being archived

 Institute number can be used

registered as “external reference” information
 retrieval based on this number is possible

Special stamp can be defined
added during the archiving process
 require a blank zone in each drawing
 indicates CDD information (CDD number…)


Upload feature helps for file transfer
drawing by drawing
 ftp recommended if too many drawings (!)

