•During Advent, we celebrate
Saint Nicholas Day on the
6th of December
• The night before St.
Nicholas’s day, the children
clean their boots and put
them in the windows before
going to sleep. In the
morning, when they wake
up, they are welcomed by
boots full of gifts
St. Nicholas comes
with Krampus (a
boogeyman-like
creature) which
scares naughty
children
• The
Krampus gives
birches to
naughty
children
On Christmas tree, every family went to cut down their own Christmas Tree
Fathers would bring the trees into the house
Midnight Mass
Exactly on midnight people go to the Midnight Mass
• On Christmas Eve we decorate the whole house
