Interactions of CASDE
•
CASDE has setup a network of faculty within IIT with whom regular interactions take place.
•
CASDE is in constant touch with scientists working in all major aerospace organizations.
•
CASDE has also involved faculty/students from other engineering colleges e.g. MIT Chennai, Parks College Coimbatore, CUSAT Cochin, in various activities.
Current Status
•
Phase-I Objectives have been met.
–
SE Specialization Introduced
–
Aerospace SE Information Lab. Created
–
Modelling & Simulation Lab. set up
–
System Level Studies Carried Out
–
Awareness of MDO Created
•
Our view is that, Phase-I of CASDE can be considered to be technically complete.
