Standards Based Portfolios

As part of your education
program at Villanova, you will
create an electronic portfolio
which demonstrates your
achievement and growth in each
of the 10 core INTASC
principles.
Portfolio Defined

According to Dr. Helen C. Barrett “an
educational portfolio contains work
that a learner has selected and
collected to show growth and change
over time; a critical component of an
educational portfolio is the learners
reflection on the individual pieces of
work as well as an overall reflection
on the story that the portfolio should
tell”.

that demonstrates achievement
or growth of a standard.
