Curriculum Based (Achievement test) – What did you learn in high school
There is no penalty for wrong answers on this test so don’t be afraid to take a
guess.
Four-section exam - 2 hours 55 minutes
– Math: skills students have typically acquired in courses taken up to the
beginning of grade 12
– Science: interpretation, analysis, evaluation, reasoning, and problem-solving
skills required in the natural sciences

How to improve your
score.




Take a practice test on collegeboard write down unfamiliar
words and their meanings. Use official tests to practice, buy a
book, or complete the online test prep course.
Experiment with different strategies. Read the questions first
and then reference the different passage. Skim the passage
first, focus on the first and last sentence of each paragraph.
Read! Read! Read!
In the essay consider the opposing point of view. Stating and
recognizing the opposing view demonstrates mature thinking.
