Elementary School

Middle recommended implementation
– Existing 6th graders (going into 7th) attending a MS have option of staying at
current middle or moving to school of new attendance area
– Existing 7th graders (going into 8th) stay at previous site for their last year
– One year only sibling option, if requested, for siblings of students completing
their last year at the school. Sibling must move to new school the following year

Elementary recommended implementation (same as new school
openings for Binks and Beech Avenue)
– If requested, students who will be either 5th or 6th graders (depending on if the
school is a K-5 or K-6) can complete their last year at their existing school
– One year only sibling option, if requested, for siblings of students completing
their last year at the school. Sibling must move to new school the following year

consideration of hardship circumstances on a limited, case-by-case and
space available basis
