THE SCHOOL WEEK
Two
week timetable
Three assemblies per week
16-20 hours of subject lessons
1 hour of General R.E. (Mass on a rota)
1-2 hours of Games, Wednesday pm
Fixed tutor period, Week 1 - Monday p.1
STUDY TIME

Up to 5 hours of study periods in school
 Study area in Sixth Form block
 Free classrooms in Sixth Form block
 New Study Centre with Learning Mentors
 ICT classrooms and Sports Science room
 Library
STUDY HABITS

Quality and quantity !!
 2/3/4 hours per night…
 Quiet area at home
 Make use of Sixth Form Block (Study Club)
 Weekends are also vital
 Not too much paid employment
 Avoid distractions
(Phones and facebook, Twitter and texts…)
