committee be established with appropriate subcommittees to develop a plan of action that
addresses concerns of the community and that
reports to the Board on a monthly basis, existing
for one year, to be reviewed at the 2012 AGM.
Activities will include surveying other groups and
community leagues, and the Committee will plan,
investigate and make recommendations to the
Board…”

We sold 317 memberships
281 Family memberships
23 Single memberships
13 Senior memberships
We had a membership table at the Indoor
Soccer registrations at Yellowbird Hall during
their two-day event. We also had a membership
table at the Southwest Farmers Market on two
separate occasions this past summer.
Gathered over 100 volunteers for various Blue
Quill events during the year, including two
casinos

Soccer: Barb Waldie Janice Quinn
Indoor - 09/11 to 03/12 had 5 teams (60 kids)
Outdoor - 196 kids with 33 transferred over
NO coaches for U10 girls or U12/U14 boys
36 coaches/assistants with 6 coaching 2 teams
CHALLENGE: Getting coaches after U10
SUGGESTION: Have more training from the
beginning so coaches are more confident at
higher levels

2013-all coaches have to take course as per
EMSA
Coaches T-shirts were a big hit and help: will
need to get more medium and large
Only 5% loss in equipment, but should always
budget for replacement/supplemental equip.
Tim Hortons sponsors Mighty Mites and U6 with
jerseys; BMO has a U8 program, but no
guarantee on color: more info to come!
Revamping of Mighty Mites Program:
Perrin Beatty helped revamp the program
into 4 groups of 6, 4-station training and 10
minute game, eliminating snack time-Big
Hit!

This year we have 4 teams playing with approx. 50
players

We will need to budget for the purchase of
more (20 or so) size 3 indoor balls
