Uses
• Computer & classroom technology upgrades to support

• Puts Technology Instruction Curriculum Leaders in every school
• Ongoing curriculum development
• Large-scale maintenance projects – roofs, flooring, mechanical
systems, etc.
• Improvement/replacement of school sports fields and structures
Phase III Capital Construction Bond Measure
• Authorize the District to sell an additional $450
million in capital bonds to rebuild older facilities
and add capacity for growth:
• Rebuilding 5 Elementary Schools – Bennett, Clyde Hill, Enatai,
Puesta del Sol, and Stevenson
• Rebuilding 1 Middle School – Highland MS
• Remodeling International and Big Picture Schools
• Adding capacity to overcrowded schools – Newport HS &
Woodridge Elementary
• Building two new schools

• Phase I (2002) and Phase II (2008) measures
funded the rebuilding 11 of 16 elementary schools;
4 of 5 middle schools and all 4 comprehensive high
schools.
