-lead executive meetings
-public speaking (BMES group functions, Biomed department
info sessions)
-responsible for providing leadership and direction for the
organization
-responsible for overall functionality of the group
-attend MTU student organizations meetings, take notes
-responsible for BMES conference booth/organizing conference
attendance
-connect committees with the tools they need to succeed (website
permissions, email permissions)
-understand national chapter awards, make sure we are
competitive for awards and that appropriate applications are in
place for chapter awards
-manage all email correspondence with BMES organization
-maintain accurate membership lists (within current year, and
from year to year)
-schedule meetings
-registration of organization from year to year with student
activities
-maintain online calendar (through Google Calendar)
-prepare charter renewal materials
-document procedures & protocols within binder for continuity of
organization
-pick up mail in Student Organization office
-take meeting minutes
-manage and maintain Wells Fargo Bank Account
-responsible for all monetary handling (for activities, fundraising,
etc.) which includes keeping an up-to-date spreadsheet with all
incoming and outflow cash assets
-manage USG funding allocations (how do we get our allocation)
-manage USG account (account number, outstanding bills)
-prepare budget summary for USG approval
-organize social functions every semester
-establish outreach activity with local schools
-establish community volunteering project
-manage fundraising for group by brainstorming, organizing and
overseeing all fundraising.
-establish connections with Industry
-invite industrial partners to meet with group during career
fair/other times of year
-organize plant tours
-organize help sessions for freshman and sophomore courses
-organize scoop exam files

our general meeting, voting will take place.
