Use table properties in
the table section under
the table tools layout
tab to move the table or
to reshape the columns
and the rows



Use gridlines, under the table section in the table tools
layout table, to show the outline of the table when it has
no boarders.
Blue lines form when the view gridlines button is
clicked, but the lines do not print.
You can also view gridlines throughout the entire
document by going to the view tab and under show and
hide click gridlines.

With this you can easily change the picture’s

Word Art is a drawing object that contains text
formatted with special shapes, patterns and
orientations.
•With Drawing Canvas, you can create
your own graphics on your computer!
•To open a drawing canvas, click New
Drawing Canvas, and then create your
own graphic!

• The adjustment handle allows you to adjust the

Floating graphic
• Graphics are added to a document
either inline or floating over the text.
• By making a picture a floating graphic
it allows you to place other pictures over it
And place the image anywhere on a page.
This includes outside the margins.

• Row and Column are
commonly used in tables,
the row of a table runs
horizontally, while the
column runs vertically.

•A graphic is any type of
picture, clipart, video, or
any other visual aid.
Graphics come in many
different forms and can
be saved in many
different ways.
•Splitting a cell means separating a
single cell into several cells.
•To split a cell all you have to do is
click the cell you want to split and
hit the split cells button.
•A Building Block is a formatted object, like a
sidebar, that you create to be used over and over
again and is stored on your computer.
•To make a building
block you have to
choose what you want
to save, for example a
footer format, and then
save it to the gallery
specific to that object.

term brightness means
that its hue, color, is used to
determine the maximum
luminance and contrast of an
object; very bright.

•The term contrast means that
there is a difference between
light and dark areas of a
distinction of pigments on an
object.

 Theme’s definition is a unified design.
 It is located on the Page Layout tab in the Themes
group.

 Graphics illustrate the ideas in one’s document.
 Graphics improve the documents looks.
 Some graphics are clip art, digital camera art, and
scanned art.

• Cropping a graphic takes away and
cuts off extra areas of the graphic.
• To crop, select the graphic, then click
the Picture Tools Format tab and click
the crop button in the Size group.
•The labels command, in Create
group under the Mailings tab, can
be used to create and print an
individual label.

